In many cases, a 3-axis CNC machine can complete the work of a 5-axis CNC machine—not to mention the exact same accuracy. The main difference lies in production settings and time. It may take up to 5 hours to complete one piece by setting a single job time on a 3-axis CNC machine tool. But it will take less than 2 hours to set up and fix the same job on a 5-axis CNC machine.
